Vizo Financial Announces 2017 Board Election and Officers

GREENSBORO, N.C., and MIDDLETOWN, Pa. – Vizo Financial Corporate Credit Union announced the results of the board of directors’ election during its Annual Meeting on August 10, 2017.  The event was held at the University of Virginia Inn at Darden Conference and Event Center in Charlottesville, Va., and was also available to members via live-stream.

“Since Vizo Financial now has a larger member base across many states, we wanted to make the Annual Meeting more convenient for everyone to attend, no matter their location,” said Jaime Agostino, marketing director of Vizo Financial. “By offering the live-streaming, in addition to the in-person meeting, more members could participate. Based on the feedback we have received, the ability to watch, listen and comment without the need to travel has been a great addition to the event. We have received many thanks from the membership and will definitely continue to offer this form of attendance moving forward.”

The following incumbents were re-elected to serve three-year terms: James McDaniel, Heritage Trust Federal Credit Union, Summerville, S.C.; Joan M. Moran, Department of Labor Federal Credit Union, Washington, D.C.; and R. Scott Weaver, Carolina Foothills Federal Credit Union, Greensville, S.C.

Officers for Vizo Financial’s board of directors were elected as follows: chair, Alison DeTuncq, president/CEO of University of Virginia Community Credit Union in Charlottesville, Va.; vice chair, Scott Woods, president/CEO of South Carolina Federal Credit Union in N. Charleston, S.C.; treasurer, Joan M. Moran, president/CEO of Department of Labor Federal Credit Union in Washington, D.C.; and secretary, Lucille Beckwith, president/CEO of Palmetto Trust Federal Credit Union in Columbia, S.C.

The following individuals were re-appointed to serve on Vizo Financial’s supervisory committee: Richard C. Burtnett, Michal Parker, and Mark Volponi.

The following individuals were appointed to serve on Vizo Financial’s credit committee:  James McDaniel, Dan Berry, and Kimberly Witt.
